  26. Rightly so.  Not everything is better as an application extension.  But
  27. here's a case where using dynamic link code can make sense--it leverages
  28. [buzz] a small amount of effort (writing the saver) by using LW for the
  29. pre-built interface and database manager.

  31. The trouble is, LW doesn't have an explicit Object Export plug-in class.
  32. It's not too hard to get around this, but it means that savers don't have
  33. an agreed place in the interface to meet--in particular, you can't just
  34. hit "Save" and get a list of formats, the way you can for images.
